About Edge Fiber
Better internet. Made in Wisconsin.
We believe everyone deserves fast, reliable internet, no matter where they live. Edge Fiber is built by people who live here, for the communities the big carriers overlook.
Thirty years of local internet. One name.
Edge Fiber brings together two Wisconsin internet companies: Edge Broadband and e-vergent. Both were started by locals, both grew by showing up for neighbors the national providers ignored, and between them they have more than thirty years of experience connecting homes and businesses across Wisconsin and Illinois. In 2026 we joined forces under one name. Same people. Same commitment. More resources to invest in the network and in you.
Why fiber
We started with wireless. It became clear that fiber is the only way to deliver the speed, reliability and resilience our customers deserve for the long term, so we built our own fiber network and keep expanding it across the region. Fiber is the gold standard, and it is what we are building for the next thirty years.
Local, and staying that way
Our teams and offices are in southeastern Wisconsin. The people who answer the phone are the people who show up at your door. We work directly with the residents and businesses we serve to understand what they actually need, then build it.
Edge Fiber is the brand of American Heartland Fiber Networks LLC, with offices in Elkhorn and Franksville, Wisconsin.
